As an auditor with more than 15 years of experience in the field, Inaz has assisted the Maldivian government with the realization of the first ever centralized and automated accounting system in the country. He has also advised and worked with key international agencies on the execution of major financial reforms. Inaz currently acts as a financial consultant to the Maldives’ Ministry of Finance. He is also engaged by private sector clients for advice on sound financial planning, management, reporting and compliance matters. In his advisory capacity, he has assisted tourism and hotel clients with various audit and assurance engagements and with transactional matters. Inaz holds a Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Malaysia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Hertfordshire, UK.
